The website is not available during routine maintenance times which are Monday through Friday from 3:30 am to 7:00 am and Saturday from 5:00 am to 6:00 am. You can submit a Nebraska unemployment application online at all other times. This is only to submit a new application for unemployment benefits or to reopen an existing claim for Nebraska unemployment benefits.

To submit a Nebraska unemployment application, you will need your social security number or alien registration number, a Nebraska driver’s license number or a Nebraska ID number, and the names and addresses of all employers where you worked during the past eighteen months. When you submit your Nebraska unemployment application, you will be asked to select debit card or direct deposit to receive your benefits. If you elect to receive your unemployment benefit via direct deposit, you will need to enter your bank routing and account numbers.
