North Dakota Unemployment Application
People filing a claim for Unemployment in North Dakota have two options - either using the state’s online application service, “UI ICE,” or by calling the telephone Claims Center.
The Claims Center is available on 701-328-4995, and staff are available from Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Central Time. The center asks that you have some of the following information available with you to cut down the call time:
Social Security Number Name, Address, and Telephone number of all the employers you have worked for in the last 18 months “DD214” - If you’ve been in military service “Standard Form 8” - If you’ve been In Federal Civilian Employment

Online claims can be made through the state Internet Claims system here: https://secure.apps.state.nd.us/jsnd/uiiaclaims/login.htm although you’ll need to register first. To be able to claim, you must be able to prove that you have been separated from your employment through no fault of your own and be actively seeking employment.
Please remember you will need to claim as soon as you are separated from work or have a significant reduction in your hours to be eligible for the full amount. Further information can be found at the North Dakota Job Service site here: http://www.jobsnd.com/jsnd/jobsnd/seekers/index.html
