Vermont Unemployment Application
To establish a Vermont unemployment application online, you can visit the Vermont Department of Labor Website located at https://uipublic.labor.vermont.gov/Claimantportal/portal/login.aspx. This online application will take you directly to the Vermont Department of Labor claimant portal where you can fill out a Vermont unemployment application. You will be asked to log in with your social security number and to create a PIN as a password. This allows you to file a Vermont unemployment application and to file your weekly claim.
If you have trouble establishing an account online, you can contact the toll free claimant assistance line at 1-877-214-3332 for help Monday through Thursday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on all non holidays. |
You can also contact a Customer Service representative at the Vermont Department of Labor Claims Center to assist you with your Vermont unemployment application by calling their toll free number at 1-877-214-3330. The Claims center hours have just been expanded to Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Deaf and hard of hearing persons may file a Vermont unemployment application by calling the department directly. The toll free number to reach a TTY customer service representative is 1-800-650-4152.
